Um die Parkkapazität an Rastanlagen zu erhöhen und gefährliche Parkmanöver zu verringern, arbeitet die Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen (BASt) im Rahmen des Projektes „Telematisch gesteuertes Kompaktparken“ derzeit an der Entwicklung eines eigenen Systems.
